What To Do After Starting Something New

It has been a month since I launched Growing Grit.

Not going to lie, it hasn’t been easy starting with nearly zero subscribers and still no concrete idea of what I wanted this newsletter to be.

Just a vision to challenge others through my experiences with dwarfism, having 20+ surgeries, and surviving a bus fire.

Challenge them to build their faith.
Challenge them to share their journey with others.
Challenge them to believe in their purpose.

I also knew that I just needed to start. To write that first post, and hit publish.

Then, do it again.

And again.

It’s the exact formula I used to grow my LinkedIn following by nearly 3,500 in just a year.

I simply showed up consistently.

I wrote in last week’s post that starting is the hardest step you’ll take in a vision or goal.

But after starting, your focus must be on consistently making progress towards that goal on a daily basis, even when the beginning is hard and it feels like you aren’t making traction.

That’s where most people give up and walk away.

But you are not most people.

You know how important your mission is.

You believe in the purpose that God has given you.

And that’s exactly why you are going to lean in and take that next right step.

That’s why you are going to show up.

Every. Single. Day.

Regards,

Kris
