The hardest step you'll ever take
I just returned from my first-ever trip to New York City.
It’s a trip that I should have taken a long time ago. And no, not for the sights and sounds (although there were plenty of those).
But because of what the trip represented—a step forward.
A step towards taking care of myself.
A step towards getting my mobility and livelihood back.
A step towards getting rid of hip pain I’ve dealt with for years.
Getting the ball rolling on anything hard. But it only happens when we take action.
Before this weekend, I didn't have a plan or surgeon I trusted to do my hip replacement.
Now I do. Oh, and I saw cool sights and met incredible people along the way.
Later this year, I’ll return to The Big Apple and have surgery to replace my right hip.
But that doesn’t happen without doing that thing that is often the hardest.
Taking the first step.
You can, too.
Now go start that thing you’ve been putting off for way too long.
All the best,
Kris
P.S. If you know of someone who needs this today, forward it on to them.
